Well, my 3rd semester of vet school is on its way
but sadly to me it is very boring. I
know for certain that I don’t want to be a bacteriologist, pathologist, or virologist
which is what 3 of my 4 classes are about. My 4th class is
pharmacology which I will like but we are just doing basic mechanisms now, not specific
drugs. All 4 classes seem to be straight
memorization so this will be interesting.
I would much rather be table to talk my way into the answer rather than
regurgitating random facts. We shall see
how it goes.
Really should be studying right now as I have 2 tests next
week (pathology on Monday and bacteriology on Thursday). I will let you know how that goes.
I have been tutoring a lot this semester for Physio 2. I really enjoy doing it and meeting people in
other semesters. I wish I had more time
to dedicate to it but sadly there are not enough hours in the day.
My computer has REALLY been acting up and I have no idea
what is wrong with it. I am thinking I might
buy a MAC when I go back home this break but this computer isn’t even 2 years
old. My last dell lasted almost 5 years
with no problems, this one isn’t even 2 years old yet…ugh. I am hoping to save up enough money from
tutoring to be able to buy one but we will see.
Besides school not much has been going on. The weather has been really crappy down here
and rained almost every day. I have gone
to the beach once thus far and only for 2 hours because it started to
downpour.
Kitts is doing great and I love her so much. She has really adapted to the “house life”
instead of “street life.” She is one of
the laziest dogs I know and will sleep on the bed 24 hours a day if you let
her. We have been practicing agility
with her and she really seems to like it.
She is going to be the first AKC titles cocoanut retriever when I get
back to the states. We have also taught
her sit, down, come, shake (with both paws), and spin. I am trying to add a new trick each
week. Her car rides are getting better
(she use to vomit the minute we started) but now she just drools a little
bit. I am sure with time she will get
better. She does go in for her spay this
Wednesday so keep good thoughts for her (I am sure everything will be
fine).
But that is all to report.
Will let you know how the tests go.
